Raise Funds For Your Organization

Our corporate not-for-profit and tax-exempt status has created an opportunity for your unit to raise funds for your own use for NATCON 2013, or for general fund-raising purposes. That opportunity is to sell sponsorships and advertisements to businesses and family members in one of several venues and program journals that will be used during NATCON. Units can sell as much as they like.

Why The Name Change?

The Pershing Rifles National Alumni Association, Inc., will now be doing business as The Pershing Rifles Group to better reflect its goal of integrated service to the entire Pershing Rifles Community, both active and alumni.

The P/R Group Mission

Our mission remains unchanged:
to encourage, preserve, and develop the ideals espoused by the National Society of Pershing Rifles, to assist the active leadership of the Pershing Rifles in the accomplishment of their mission, and to continue to develop and preserve the bonds of Brotherhood established by the National Society of Pershing Rifles, the Co-Ed Affiliates of the Pershing Rifles (CAPERs), the BlackJacks and equivalent organizations.

Tax Status

As documented in this letter from the IRS, we have been classified as a 501 (C) (10) not-for-profit organization for tax purposes. Member associations have the option of joining under our umbrella, avoiding the need to incorporate on their own.


Use of the
Pershing Rifles Logo

The National Society of Pershing Rifles holds the rights to the Pershing Rifles logo under copyright registration number 3,754,189, registered March 2, 2010.

Use of the logo by non-members is subject to a license fee. To obtain a license for use of the logo, please contact us by e-mail at copyright@theprgroup.org.
