Chris Scheuermann currently serves as the Interim CIO of the Pershing Rifles Group and Executive Director of the John J. Pershing Memorial Foundation. Chris was initiated into Pershing Rifles Company D-17 of Louisiana State University during the fall of 2004, and has remained an active volunteer working to support Pershing Rifles since completing his term as the Pershing Rifles National Commander in May 2008.
Chris has been with the Pershing Rifles Group since the organization began, serving as a member of the Inaugural Board of Directors, and Director of Alumni Affairs for the Pershing Rifles National Headquarters. Chris has served in various other roles over the last 10 years, including Director of Information Technology, Vice President of the Pershing Rifles Alumni Association, Secretary of the Board of Directors, and most recently prior to his current positions, CEO for the PRG.
Outside of his work for the Pershing Rifles Group and its partner organizations, Chris spent several years working as a Restaurant Manager. He attended Louisiana State University and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Decision Science (ISDS) with a concentration in Information Technology Management from LSU’s E.J. Ourso College of Business. He currently works as a Systems Administrator in Denver, Colorado.
