Jimmy Reaves is an alumnus of Company M-16 at Florida State University; he joined Pershing Rifles the Fall of 2008. After attending his first Pershing Rifles National Convention, he was motivated to do more for the Society and decided to apply for the National Headquarters staff. He was appointed to the position of G-2, National Expansion Officer by the (then) National Commander, P/R MG Tom Carlsen.
While in this role, he succeeded in expanding the Society by helping to charter six new companies into the Society. The following year he served as the National Headquarters Inspector General, his service to NHQ culminated when he was selected to be the Society’s Deputy National Director of Operations. After graduating, Jimmy commissioned into the U.S. Army as an OH-58D Kiowa pilot, where he served for two years at Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA. He has since retired and moved to Charlotte, NC where he currently lives with his wife and works as an insurance auditor.
Jimmy joined the Pershing Rifles Group staff in 2016, and in April 2017 was promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer. In 2018, Jimmy took over as Controller of the PRG while maintaining his role as COO, and most recently, in December 2019, was appointed CEO.
